Union County Public Schools has an opening for a LEAD alternative school teacher for the 2024-25 school year at Union County Learning Academy (UCLA).  The highly-effective and motivated candidate must have an active Kentucky Teaching Certification.  Special Education Certification (LBD) is preferred.  The applicant will also have the requisite content knowledge and a true desire to inspire the champion within.  This is a full-time position (210 days). 

Applicants must provide qualifying credentials:

• Official Transcripts and the applicable EPSB certification:
• Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility
• Other Qualifying Certification or Credentials
• Complete required KSP/FBI background check and CAN check
• Complete employment requirements and trainings
