Union County Public Schools has an opening for Cheer Coach at Union County Middle School.  The district has developed key areas upon which applicants will be assessed; these dispositions include the following indicators:

• Stability – demonstrates maturity and ability for the position
• Attitude toward work – appears to be dedicated to and enthusiastic, positive, and creative towards the demands of the position.
• Attitude toward schools – Displays a willingness to cooperate with parents and other shareholders
• Attitude toward community relations – Projects a positive attitude toward promoting the school programs within the community.
• Ability to relate to students – Has leadership ability to work successfully with participants.
• Student Management – Demonstrates effective discipline, motivation, and proper supervision.
• Attitude toward school activities – Demonstrates a willingness to support school activities in his/her work.
• Professionalism and personal relationships – Develops respect by example in appearance, manners, behavior, language, and conduct.
• Communication skills – Communicates effectively.

If not a certified employee, para-professionals (coaches) must pass the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or provide proof of a minimum of 48 college hours.  If providing proof of college hours, please upload transcript along with application or deliver to Central Office, 510 S.
