Para-professionals must pass the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or provide proof of a minimum of 48 college hours.  For Paraeducator Assessment.  Effective 4/4/2018, All applicants must present a letter from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) stating that the applicant has no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect.
